Super prediction

We're a couple of days away from the conference championship games and to listen to the "experts," you'd think a Packers-Steelers Super Bowl is a near certainty.

I say don't discount the "underdogs" in these games — the Jets at Bears.

The Jets come into the AFC title game with road playoff wins against Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, while the Bears have been the most underrated team this year — even as they won their division title and secured the No. 2 seed.

You know how I am when it comes to predicting games, but here I go again.

NFC Championship: Bears 24, Packers 21

AFC Championship: Jets 17, Steelers 13

Maybe the experts do have it right.

Crash & burn?

Maybe it's just me, but am I the only one who thinks the Jets are in trouble Saturday.

I know on paper New York might be considered the better of the two teams but how can you ever bet against Peyton Manning in his own building? Manning has shown he know how to beat a Rex Ryan defense and the Jets defense is not what it was last year.

My pick: Colts 24, Jets 14.

By the way, before you go to the bank with my prediction, remember I had the Cowboys playing the Chargers in the Super Bowl. Where are those teams now? Watching the playoffs on TV.
